Pictures for Daddy

Here are a few snapshots for Daddy, who's working in Atlanta this week.  What we've been up to:
Wearing Dada's hats

Eating ants on a log, hold the ants and log, please

Sharing a chair and a snack

Posing with our twin friends

All done!
My handsome hubs also sent a dozen roses, and my best boys sent me a half dozen Sherri's Berries!  Thank you, loves!  It turned out to be a nice Valentine's Day!

Gettin' silly with our best buds!
And thank you, too, for the leads on a possible renter for our place and two possible places for us!  In the event none of these work out, keep them coming!  And for the pants tip - now, to actually get to Kohl's....that is the question!  I'll keep you posted!

Dear Daddy,

Dear Daddy,
Guess where we ate last night?  It has chips and cheese quesadillas and refried beans and servers who keep picking up your sippy cups and fire engine toys when you throw them on the ground and I dipped a chip in salsa and it was good but mommy took it away because I tried to scoop it up with my hands and OH YEAH we got to color too but mommy wouldn't let us eat the crayons even though I kind of like doing it so I was mad and just broke them but she didn't seem to care she just fed me cheese quesadillas and they were really yummy and then I played with my fire engine toy and threw it on the ground and this really nice server who kept calling me hombre picked it up every time and it was really fun till mommy took the toy away and gave me a fruit leather but I didn't really want that I just wanted to get down so she let me get out and sit with her friend Miss K who put me down on the ground and HOORAY! I'M FREE!
Pass the salsa, please!

 Dear Daddy,
I was a panda today.  I sat really still to get my picture taken with A and the other kids.  Because mommy gave me a choo-choo to hold.  I said "choo choo" and she smiled so I said it again and she smiled again.  It was a lot of fun.  My favorite part was pretending to be a bird and eating little pieces of cheese sandwiches out of O&W's grandma's hands.  She was a chef.    She gave me a lot of cheese.  I really like it.  Mommy says maybe I'll be a mouse next year.  There were two cozy coupe cars there and I played with them but I shared, too.

Choo-choo-choo-choo-choo-choo!
Little animals at the muliples' halloween party today!

Dear Daddy,

Hi Dad,
I can call you that now that we're big, right?  We officially graduated from "Moms and Muffins" today - it was our last time hanging out with the babies.  But it was good...you know, there were girls here.  Yes, I said "here," mom actually let us have girls over!  Now we KNOW we're big!  See?
That's me, then Nathan, and you know A and G, then there's our new girlfriends A and M -(or is that M and A?) They're pretty cool.  They say they're not identical, but they look alike to me!  I really liked M, but I just didn't have the nerve to ask her out.  Mom says that I need to wait 20 years, but I'm thinking maybe we can go out for pizza next month for her birthday.  What do you think?  Can I borrow the car?

Love, Matthew

Dear Daddy,
Matthew is so funny!  He's all talk - he was so shy around the girls!  Ha, ha!  They were really fun and played with our toys and sat on Mom's lap.  I guess she likes it when babies do that?

Then we took a nap, then we took a walk and saw a SCHOOL BUS and CATERPILLARS!  We read stories and played and skyped with you and played and skyped with Grandma and played and then when Aunt L thought I was asleep and she was giving Matthew his bottle I POOPED!  Ha, ha!  Then she had to clean me up!  Ha, ha!  It was a super-fun day!

Love, Nathan

Dear Daddy,

M:We are having the BEST DAY EVER!
N: Remember when we told you about the double poopsplosion? We pulled it off this morning!
M: Without a hitch!
N: Unless you count my diaper leaking as a hitch, but it made mom's face SO MUCH FUNNIER!
M: It was so funny that I forgot to give mom a hard time and accidentally finished my bottle!
N: Yeah, then I pooped again while we had breakfast!
M: That wasn't part of the plan, but she thinks it was! And guess what? If I make the "more" sign, she gives me more mango! Every time!
N: Not me. If I just stuff my face till my cheeks puff out and laugh, she gives me more, so I quit signing.
M: After morning nap, we took a long walk to downtown
N: We saw a tractor, a model T, a schoolbus, and lawnmowers
M: The bank lady wanted to give us a sucker, but mom said no
N: She wanted to give us a sticker, but mom said no
M: Mom said we'd eat stickers!
N: Well, it's true, bro
M: Oh, yeah. Then, we had THE BEST LUNCH EVER!
N: She made us your favorite: grilled cheese with sharp cheddar and garlic powder on whole wheat.
M: And that "more" thing worked again!
N: After lunch, we helped "organize" our toys into bins. I thought it best to be inside the bin for sorting.
M: Then, you'll never believe it, Dad!
N: THE LAWN GUYS CAME!!!
M: Wow, they are just the coolest!

N: Mom's making us take another nap, but that's okay because I'm just exhausted.
M: Yeah, she really wears us out.
N: She says A is coming over tonight.
M: I hope she helps with our bath because I really wanna get her all wet!
N: Great idea, Matthew! You come up with the best plans!
M & N: Love you, Daddy! See you soon!

Dear Daddy

I'm catching up to Nathan!  I cut my 4th tooth yesterday, so I'm halfway to his 8.  Hopefully, he'll keep slacking so I can catch him.  Grandma has one of those ride-on cars, too.  Here I am trying it out this morning.  It's doesn't really go anywhere.  Maybe it's broken?  Bring some warm weather from Florida so we can go outside and play when you get here.  Can't wait to show you my new tooth!  Love, Matthew
Last night, I just couldn't sleep.  I don't know why.  Mom says that sometimes she can't go to sleep when you're traveling.  Maybe that's what it was - I missed you.  But I know you're working hard and will be home, soon.  I keep really busy playing with all these new toys at Grandmas, though.  Check out this airplane!  This morning, I was teaching Mommy how you get on a plane and fly to work.  I can't wait to bite your toes with my 8 sharp teeth!  Love, Nathan

To Daddy

Dear Daddy,

Good Morning!  We surprised Mommy by staying quiet until 7:30 am.  Then we surprised her again when we EACH had diapers full of green, smelly poo.  She didn't feed us peas again today, so our plan worked!
Good Afternoon!  We were very good boys with Mommy and her friend at the Mexican restaurant.  She even let us try the beans - they were okay, but we're glad she had Cheerios we could throw on the floor eat instead.  Then we read our library books this afternoon.  She reads to us, but we prefer turning our OWN pages, thankyouverymuch!
Good Night!  We were making Mommy a little crazy by 5:00 because we only slept one hour this afternoon, so we Skyped with Grandma.  Since we BOTH wanted to see Grandma on the computer at the SAME time - and we'll have you know we made that VERY clear by wailing and whining and pulling at the computer cords under the desk if one was not on her lap - Mommy invented this game where we can both see Grandma.  This is what Grandma saw while Skyping.  Pretty cool!

We love you and can't wait to see you soon!

Love, Nathan and Matthew

Fun at School

Dear Daddy,
We had a lot of fun at school today!  We played on the blocks, laughed at ourselves in the mirror, learned about going to the eye doctor (mom said we'll do that this spring), sang songs and played with a LOT of toys!  Nathan got to sing with the teacher's assistant today, and guess what?  Our buddy, L, can WALK!  He was showing us how to do it - can't wait to try it out soon.  There were SO many kids there, but we were really good boys for mommy.  We even went straight to bed when we got home to take a nap.  Mommy said she's very proud of us!
Love, Nathan and Matthew

Dear Daddy,

Last night,
I pooped.
I dusted grandma's slippery floor with my belly.
I splashed grandma and got her real wet in the bathtub.
I thought it was all very funny!
Love, Nathan

Dear Daddy,
Last night,
I pooped.
I dusted grandma's slippery floor with my belly.
I accidentally splashed myself in the bathtub.
And none of it was funny at all!
Love, Matthew

I love dusting!

I'll race you to the kitchen!

Matthew wins!

Matthew does have a sense of humor...he likes to drive in the buff!
