while I was nursing C in his nursery and Hubs was reading bedtime stories to the boys in the living room:
N: Daddy, do you have boobies?
H: No...
N: I do! See? (Lifts shirt and points to nipples)
H: What do you use them for?
N: To feed my bear!
Welcome aboard today's flight, powered by our energetic twin engine boys. Should we lose cabin pressure, oxygen masks will deploy.

No More Mr. Little Baby
He's outgrowing everything! His bum hovers just above the floor in his bouncy chair, his 6 month onesies barely snap and he prefers standing to sitting on your lap. And today, can you believe it, he tried out the high chair (for card-making viewing purposes , not food-eating). I dusted off the jump a too and teething toys this week, too. Oh my goodness, where did my little baby go?

Gettin' Crafty
I spent my last bit of mother's helpers time today creating a photo book on Shutterfly because I had a free code that expires tomorrow. Losing free money is a very good motivator! It took forever like those things always do - I worked through nap - hey! They napped!! Leaving the screen open on the desktop all day, I dashed down here the minute I closed their door (they are still not asleep because they napped) to make the finishing touches and place the order. It turned out very cute, by the way.
The rest of my evening will look like this, provided the twins quiet down soon: me and a snack snuggled on the couch to watch something brainless on cable - heaven only knows what's on since I've only seen the Olympics lately - crocheting some Christmas gifts. If it weren't so hot out, I'd have a fire too, I'm feeling so cozy and crafty today.
The fellas were reunited with Dragon Pool this afternoon, which kept them cool and entertained for almost two hours while a pregnant friend and I chatted about what else? Pregnancy.
A very good day. I could get used to this.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!
The boys and I had the privilege of dropping Grandpa off at his truck on his birthday today. He's the last to leave, so we partied Saturday night well (almost) everyone was still here - Uncle A had to leave early for work. I learned a wonderful lesson: for just a 99 cent pack of party blowers, you can turn any meal into a party! The boys were excited all day about the party we were having for Grandpa and asked about it approximately every 10 minutes. Finally, after all the steaks and potatoes were eaten, we passed out the party hats and blowers and lit the candles on his pineapple upside down birthday cake. Great fun was had by all as you can see! (FYI, Aunt L, I did not include the pic you took of my backside while I was cleaning up spilled milk thankyouverymuch) Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Swimming Lessons
We are blessed to live in a city with a multi-million dollar public pool
and I cannot wait until the boys are old enough to just go swim while C
and I lounge by the baby pool! Maybe next year... We took the whole
gang when it warmed up Thursday afternoon and took a dip. You'll notice as the photos progress, M and N get braver and braver. By the end, they were jumping without their life jackets!
This facility is just beautiful and I can't wait to spend more time here next summer.

Nose pickin' break |
C is for Cutie |
M is sitting on the fountain here, trying to keep it from spraying up |
